Ibutamoren ( MK 677 ) is a hormone secretion compound that stimulates the pituitary gland to increase the production of human growth hormone. Ibutamoren is a long-acting, orally-active, selective, and non-peptide agonist of the ghrelin receptor and a growth hormone secretagogue, imitating the growth hormone (GH)-stimulating action of the endogenous hormone ghrelin.
More specifically, Ibutamoren ( MK-677 ) stimulates bioactive GHS-R1a. As such, it binds to the same receptor that GHRP 2, and GHRP 6. It is long acting and has shown in studies to cause a predictable rise in IGF-1 other GH agonist.
WHAT IS THE DOSAGE OF IBUTAMOREN ( MK 677 )
A great fact about Ibutamoren ( MK 677 ) is it is orally active and therefore available in tablets or capsules. It is available in several different strengths depending on the pharmacy but most often 12.5 mg, 25 mg and 35 mg.
A typical dose for men is 25 mg at night before bed 1-2 hours after a meal
Cycle: there several different ways to cycle MK 677 depending on your ultimate goal. For the standard athletic individual 4 weeks on 2 weeks off is standard.
It can also be cycled with other growth peptides such as Ipamorelin or Ipamorelin / CJC 1295
WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS OF IBUTAMOREN ( MK 677 )
Ibutamoren ( MK 677 ) is well tolerated with little to no side effects if any. The most common side effect is hunger.
