KISSPEPTIN
BOOST TESTOSTERONE PRODUCTION
WHAT IS KISSPEPTIN
Kisspeptin-10 was originally named metastin after its ability to prevent the spread of cancer (metastasis).
Kisspeptin-10 is a peptide produced in the hypothalamus that stimulates the release of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) which then causes luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) to be released from the pituitary gland.
It is used by men who are undergoing testosterone replacement therapy and often used instead of hCG to boost the body's down testosterone and prevent testicular atrophy.
WHAT ARE THE POSSIBLE BENEFITS OF KISSPEPTIN
Kisspeptin enters into receptor sites in the pituitary gland, starting a reaction that causes the gland to release neurotransmitters to signal the release of LH and FH.
Some benefits may include:
- Increasing the body's production of testosterone naturally
- Prevent testicular atrophy
- Regulate fertility
- Increases sexual arousal
- Improves mood & behavior
- Lowers the risk of heart disease
- Boosts immunity
- Promote weight loss
- Prevents wrinkles and other signs of skin aging
- Boosts brain function
- Increase ovarian function
- Regulate fertility
- May offer benefit in reproductive disorders such as Idiopathic Hypogonadotropic hypogonadism (IHH), , hypothalamic amenorrhea (HA) and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)
HOW DOES KISSPEPTIN WORK
Kisspeptin stimulates secretion of gonadotrophin releasing hormone (GnRH)It increase LH (luteinizing hormone) and FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone) in doing so it stimulate Leydig cells resulting in increased testosterone production.
Kisspeptin enters into receptor sites in the pituitary gland, starting a reaction that causes the gland to release neurotransmitters. Those neurotransmitters then signal the release of LH and FH. These hormones have a role to play in the production of testosterone and oestradiol. Without Kisspeptin, this entire chain reaction would be compromised.
Kisspeptin mimics the actions of both clomiphene and hCG and therefore maintains fertility in men and deters against testicular atrophy. Has now been safely and successfully used in men and women

WHAT IS THE DOSAGE OF KISSPEPTIN
- 100 mcg subQ daily
Others advocate for use along with TRT dosing 2-3 times a week
WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS OF KISSPEPTIN
Potential Side Effects:
- redness at the injection site
- overdose may result in hypersecretion of the gonadotropic hormones, precocious puberty
