PEPTIDE THERAPY IS PERFORMANCE, LONGEVITY AND COGNITION
You medical provider will discuss many options with you. Together, you and your provider will create a plan to help you meet your health, wellness and performance goals.
IGF-1 / LR 3
POTENT PERFORMANCE PEPTIDE
Peptides have changed the way we think about regenerative medicine and how we optimize health and slow down the aging process. Finding the right provider to lead you to success has never been more important. At PRAMAH, we guide you every step of the way.
Be Your Best; Outperform The Rest
Today, peptides can be used alone or in combination with other peptides (stacks). They have proven to drive up energy, repair injuries, optimize the immune system and increase cognition. We believe in the craft of medicine and the building of relationships. When you succeed, so do we.
WHAT IS IGF-1 / LR 3
IGF-1 is polypeptide long-chain amino acid peptide hormone. Insulin-like Growth Factor (Long-R3 IGF-1), an 83 amino acid analog of IGF-1 is a highly anabolic hormone released primarily in the liver with the stimulus of growth hormone (HGH).
IGF-1 is a peptide molecule and is about the same size and structure as insulin. IGF hormone analogs are known as growth factor polypeptide hormones. In the body, IGF-1 is released in the presence of Human Growth Hormone and functions to promote nitrogen retention and increases in protein synthesis. Growth peptides cause a direct effect on muscles in the body by actual development of fresh muscle fibers and cells.
WHAT RE THE BENEFITS OF IGF-1 / LR 3
Many believe in the value of using IGF-1 / LR 3 to promote muscle building. It is thought that it anything it does not cause the loss of muscle. It is often used in addition to other therapy by bodybuilders to enhance exercise potential and improve physique.
Benefits may include:
- Increase lean muscle mass
- Improve athletic performance
- Improve muscle recovery after workouts
- Reduce recovery time after injuries
- Boost muscle protein synthesis
- Reduce Body Fat
- Facilitates protein synthesis in the body.
- Regulates the storage of fat and channels it to be used for the production of energy.
- Increases metabolism
- Increases the regenerative properties of the body’s nerve tissues.
- Upregulates anti-oxidant benefit and ligament strength
HOW DOES IGF-1 / LR 3 WORK
IGF-1 / LR3 or insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) helps encourage normal bone and tissue growth and development and also has the ability to decrease blood glucose levels.
IGF-1 promotes systemic body growth, and has growth-stimulating effects on mostly every cell in the body, mainly bone, cartilage, skeletal muscle, liver, kidney, nerve, skin and lung cells. As well as the insulin-like effects, IGF-1 can also manage cellular DNA synthesis.
IGF-1 advances to fat cells and therefore burns fat. Subsequently, it increases lean body mass and decreases fat. These effects are desired mostly by athletes and bodybuilders. Increased IGF-1 levels are also comparable to weight gain. This weight gain is a result of lean body mass growth, not fat production.
WHAT IS THE DOSAGE OF IGF-1 / LR3
IGF-1 / LR3 is very long acting growth hormone release peptide. Typically it is available in a liquid or powder form and injected subcutaneously. It is supplied commonly in 500 mcg, 600 mcg and 1000 mcg per vials.
Dosage suggestion from studies agree to inject 20-50 mcg SQ/IM daily for a max of 6-7 weeks. Dosing from 50 - 80 mcg can also be used with caution and under the supervision of a physician. Muscle pain can occur with higher dosing.
Desensitization can and does occur around 6 weeks after initial time of use. It is recommended to take 20-40 days off prior to starting another course of IGF1/LR3 again .
Some physicians suggest consuming protein with a blend of simple & complex carbohydrates 15-20 minutes prior to administering IGF-1/ LR3.
Other recommend taking the medication before bed because that is when your body naturally replenishes its own growth hormone.
WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS OF IGF-1 / LR3
IGF-1. / LR3 may have little or no side effects depending on the individual and dosing.
Some possible side effects with IGF-1/LR3 could be:
- Joint pain
- Muscle pain
- May be associated with an increased risk of developing a number of common cancers, including lung, breast, colorectal, and prostate
WHO SHOULD NOT TAKE IGF-1 / LR3
- Anyone without a growth hormone deficiency
- Any history of tumors, cancer
- Any severe illness of any kind
- Any history of multiple trauma
- Any history of severe breathing problems
- Any previous problems with taking growth hormone
