PEPTIDE THERAPY IS PERFORMANCE, LONGEVITY AND COGNITION
You medical provider will discuss many options with you and create a plan to help you meet your weight loss goals.
Peptides have changed the way we think about regenerative medicine and how we optimize health and slow down the aging process. Finding the right provider to lead you to success has never been more important. At PRAMAH, we guide you every step of the way.
Be Your Best; Outperform The Rest
Today, peptides can be used alone or in combination with other peptides (stacks). They have proven to drive up energy, repair injuries, optimize the immune system and increase cognition. We believe in the craft of medicine and the building of relationships. When you succeed, so do we.
WHAT IS SERMORELIN
Sermorelin is a synthetically made version of growth hormone releasing hormone (GHRH), the endogenous hormone responsible for stimulating natural growth hormone production. Sermorelin stimulates the pituitary gland to produce greater amounts of natural GH therefore it is not synthetic GH.
It is used both as a anti-aging and athletic peptide.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF SERMORELIN
Sermorelin stimulates the brain to release growth hormone (GH) which is naturally produced by the body. To increase growth hormone levels,
We know GH is a crucial component in numerous physiological processes, with substantial influence in the facilitation of strength, energy, flexibility, vitality, and overall well-being.
Low growth hormone levels often cause loss of muscle mass and strength, weaker bones, reduced exercise capacity, increased body fat, decreased stamina, poor recovery, and non-restorative sleep. Indeed, aging-related decline in growth hormone levels is responsible for many of the debilitating effects commonly experienced when getting older.
Benefits may include:
- increased muscle
- increased lean body mass
- decreased body fat
- enhanced recovery from injuries and training session
- deeper, more restful sleep
- enhanced flexibility and joint health
- improved overall health and wellness.
HOW DOES SERMORELIN WORK
As mentioned previously, Sermorelin stimulates part of the brain, in particular the pituitary gland to release more naturally and already produced GH.Like the body’s natural GHRH.
Sermorelin works by binding to the growth hormone releasing hormone receptor (or GHRHr) in the anterior part of the pituitary gland. There, it works to stimulate greater production of GH, thereby increasing the production of endogenous IGF-1 as well. As it exerts its effects in an identical manner to GHRH, Sermorelin’s positive effect on GH output is modulated by a negative feedback mechanism initiated by somatostatin, the endogenous hormone also known as growth hormone inhibiting hormone (GHIH).
This has several positive effects, two of which are the prevention of extreme, unhealthy GH levels in the body and the mirroring of more natural patterns of fluctuation in GH concentrations.
WHAT IS THE DOSAGE OF SERMORELIN
Supplied: injectable, tablet and troche
Amount per administration: 200 to 1000 mcg (0.25 to 1mg). Note oral administration dose is typically higher than subcutaneous injections because of the total absorption based of route of administration
Administration frequency: 1 to 3 times daily
Sermorelin dosage commonly range from 200 mcg (0.2mg) to 1000 mcg (1mg) given 1 to 3 times daily. Generally, the peptide is either administered once daily before bed or split into 2 – 3 smaller doses spread throughout the day. Both approaches to administration can be effective and have been shown to elicit positive results in clinical studies.
Although Sermorelin has a relatively short half-life of 10 – 20 minutes, the peptide has been shown to stimulate an acute release of GH for 2 hours after administration. As a result, protocols delivering 3 daily doses of as little as 100 mcg (0.1mg) per administration have been shown to cause a significant increase in GH and IGF-1 secretion. This type of protocol will commonly result in a more consistent GH level on a daily basis.
WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS OF SERMORELIN
Sermorelin is well tolerated with little to no side effects if any. The most common side effect is hunger.
- injection site reactions (such as pain, swelling, or redness)
- difficulty swallowing
